Partners

The Partnership for Accessible Reading Assessment (PARA) consortium is made up of three organizations:

• Located at the University of Minnesota, the National Center on Educational Outcomes (NCEO) provides national leadership in the participation of students with disabilities in national and state assessments, standards-setting efforts, and graduation requirements.

• Located at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), the Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing (CRESST) is at the forefront of efforts to improve the quality of education and has pioneered the development of valid and sensitive testing techniques, including the use of assessment for more reasoned decision-making.

• Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, Westat is noted for its technical expertise in program evaluation, statistical design, and survey research.
